Q: How long does the process take?
A: Depending on the cooperation of your child, it usually takes less than 30 minutes to complete the whole process.

Q: How long will I have to wait to get my "footprints"?
A: Three weeks is usually sufficient for us to complete the work and have them ready for you to pickup. Special occasion imprints can be done faster on request.

Q: Where is Vars, Ontario and how do I get there?
A: Vars is located about 20 minutes east of Ottawa Ontario. For a map, please refer to our Contact Us page.

Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: Since this is a home-based business, all imprints are done by appointment only. For customer convenience, we have very flexible hours.

Q: Is this safe for a baby's skin?
A: Yes. All the compounds that we use are completely safe and non-toxic.

Q: Do you go to people's homes?
A: We have done imprints in others' home in special circumstances. Examples would be for the mobility impaired or the terminally ill.

Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: We will accept cash or personal cheque. A deposit is required when the molds are done. The balance will be due when you pick up your completed Footprints.

Q: What is the best age to get the imprints done?
A: We wish mothers would leave the hospital and come directly to us!! In all seriousness though, we can get good molds of any aged person.

Q: Can I choose my colours and design?
A: Yes, we have a varied selection of frames, mattes, and mould paint.

Q: What if my child moves during the taking of the moulds?
A: If the child moves, and the mould is damaged, we will simply redo it. I can tell by the mould if it has to be redone; you are guaranteed good molds. (P.S. They all wriggle and move!!)

Q: Will you do "Baby Parties"?
A: Although people ask for this service, I feel that too many children and parents together in one place over stimulates, and frankly, the results are not as nice. A relaxed environment in a one-one-one situation always works best. This way, I am able to spend the time needed to make the best product I can for you. I do however offer a 10% discount for twins and a 15% discount for triplets.
(makes you almost wish you had triplets instead of twins :-)

Q: Will you do imprints of deceased people?
A: Yes. We do imprints of recently deceased family members.
